Monty Ray Prewitt, age 59, of St. Louis, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born December 10, 1957 in St. Louis, the son of the late Leamon Ray and Rose Jean (Dotson) Prewitt.

Monty is survived by three children: Cory Schultz of Kansas City, MO, Conour Prewitt and Caulin Prewitt, both of Niagra Falls, NY; four grandchildren: Trinity, Debbie, Alyssa and Anna; three sisters: Rose Avila of California, Doris Peirce of Caseyville, IL and Crystal Prewitt of O'Fallon, IL; one brother, Earl Prewitt of St. Louis, MO; and multiple nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
