Griffard, Joycelyn
Donna Joyce Griffard (nee Kibby) passed away peacefully with her children at her side on July 19, 2018 at the age of 87. Joyce was born to Howard and Thelma Kibby in Connersville, Indiana on November 6, 1930. Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo Griffard, Sr. in 1987. Joyce is survived by her seven children, Leo Jr. (Patti Tobias) of Golden, Colorado, Stephen (Janet), of St. Louis, Timothy (Jill), St. Louis, Nancy Kreft (Larry Naderhoff), of Canyon Lake, Texas, John (Rose) of Quincy, Illinois, Peter (Donna), of Skagway, Alaska, and Sally Budd (Tim) of Eureka, Missouri. Joyce was married to Leo Griffard, Sr. on June 17, 1950 at St. James the Greater Church in Dogtown. Joyce and Leo were high school sweethearts and members of the Southwest High School class of 1948. Joyce and Leo raised their seven children in St. Louis, Missouri and Quincy, Illinois. Joyce had nineteen grandchildren, Sean, Erin, Stephen, Neal, Molly, Emily, Tim, Justin, Kara, Adam, Dan, Brooke, Lindsay, Logan, Alex, Nicholas, Adam, Natalie, Andrew and ten great grandchildren. Joyce's greatest love was for her children and grandchildren. Joyce was a beautiful, kind and humble person who will be greatly missed by all. Services: Visitation at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Laboure Church, 9740 Sappington Rd., Saint Louis, MO, 63128.
