    A Legacy, Indeed.

    I knew Mr. Charles Volner through the many years of basketball with the St. Louis Blue Knights. He and his sweet bride, would come and support their grandsons and all of our sons when they were able to do so. He was a model of Christian character for us all, a "class act"! He showed support throughout the years for his precious "little girl", Marsha and her sweet family, ( Phil, Gabe, Nate, Luke and Eli) and left a mark on their lives that will never be forgotten. The Bible teaches us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, so in the midst of the sorrow, we should thank the Lord for his life and that his race was run with you all with him and that he finished his course and is now victorious:) Count it a joy indeed, that the Lord wove you all together as a beautiful family that was headed by such a Man of Valour. Know that my prayers and love are with you and although I can not be there now, I am, in my thoughts for you all. I love you:) Analda Merritt
